Will the Yankees Ever Learn?
With the news in recent days that A-Rod is going to stick around New York for another year, and that the Yankees are picking up the one year, $13M option on Gary Sheffield, it's becoming more and more evident that the Yankees are fucking morons.
Those two are cancers, one in the more obvious sense. Sheffield already is acting up. He doesn't want to be in New York next year. And A-Rod...well...blah.
Of course, all of this becomes moot if the Yankees only picked up the option to deal Sheffield, and if the A-Rod stuff is a smokescreen. But if not, we can count on another year of big promises and little delivery.
