Troy Smith Loves Strippers
I guess the natural response to the above headline is, "Well, who doesn't?" But The New York Post still manages to offer some interesting details about Smith's post-Heisman celebrations:
Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith celebrated his Heisman Trophy by dancing in the middle of the 40/40 Club following Saturday's awards ceremony; he then paid a repeat visit to Scores East Side on Monday night. The dancers hailed Smith as a generous tipper. "He will be a great pro," Scores Girl Kendall said. "He's got it. He's a natural leader. I can tell." ....
Hey, when Kendall is proclaiming you a natural leader, you know you're in for a solid NFL career. She's been in the game long enough to see many successful pro athletes, and she knows what separates the men from the boys (insert joke here).
Smith, to my knowledge, is still a college student. He hasn't received an NFL contract yet. So where's the money coming from? Scores is a high-end place (not that I'd know....no, seriously, I wouldn't know. Because I can't afford it.). Someone's got to be lining his pockets. Why aren't more people talking about this part of it? Hasn't anyone seen Blue Chips?
