Yankees, Blame the Tea

I was flipping through last weeks Sports Illustrated when I came across the ad that's shown up top. At first, I just thought it was just another ad. Then I read the caption on the bottom. Since the picture is a bit too small, here's what Joe Torre was quoted saying:

Six years ago, my nutrionist recommended I make it a regular part of my diet so I did. I've been drinking Bigelow green tea ever since...especially during the game.

Six years ago was when the Yankees won their final World Series, in 2000 against the Mets. Ever since, they've learned the great art of choking. That's the same time that Joe started drinking the Bigelow green tea. I'm sure it doesn't help that it's during the game. I bet you after A-Rod hits into his patented double play, if the camera showed Torre in the dugout, he'd be drinking the tea. Blame the tea.

Maybe the Yanks should have fired Torre.
