Say It Ain't So, Shaq
As noted before, I'm a Shaq fan. I admire his game, and support his quest to cleanse the world of perverts. Plus, he just seems like an all-around fun guy to hang out with. But I'm not really in favor of this whole reality tv thing.
"NBA star Shaquille O'Neal is doing a new weight loss reality show for ABC that is scheduled to air this summer. The as-yet untitled show will feature Shaq taking part in a campaign to help elementary and high school kids lose weight. The six-episode show is currently shooting in Broward County, FL."
I guess, on the scale of awful television, this is a lesser evil. Kids are entirely too fat nowadays; America is turning into an incredibly unattractive country because of it. But do we really need more reality television?
Also, Shaq is really fat. So it's the blind leading the blind, here. Maybe a Celebrity Fit Club primer for Shaq would have been appropriate, so as not to be hypocritical.
I'm leaving the picture in your hands. I'm not touching that one. Shaq will kill me. Or Tim Hardaway.
